ADVANCED CAMP-
This camp has sold out for the last 9 years it has been in existence!!! This program is built around the total development of the goaltender. In my small group format (12 goalies max in a group) we will focus on: technical save making, mental training, situational play, off-ice training and confidence building. Some of America's top young goalies have come through this program. Past graduates have played at the following places: ECHL, UHL, SPHL, CHL, Boston College, St. Lawrence, UNH, UVM, Providence, Umass-Lowell, Trinity, Bowdoin, Babson, UConn, Univ. of Wisconsin-River Falls, Becker, Wesleyan, Salve Regina, Salem State, Suffolk University, Southern NH University, Clarkson University, EJHL, AJHL amongst others.
The lateset training methods will be employed by Rob and his staff as they strive to bring out the best in all aspects of their game. The camp will follow a progressive development structure with each week building on the next. The 7 week program will meet 1 time per week for 4 hours. A typical day will consist of groups skills training on ice, group off-ice training and group mental training. Each location will follow a specific format focusing on my "building blocks" system.

FIXED LESSON CAMP
This program provides the goalie with a set lesson time for 8 weeks at the state-of-the-art Puckstopeprs training center in Exeter, NH. All aspects of goaltending will be covered at the camp. Goalies will be paired with a partner as they train on synthetic ice. In addition to top rate technical instruction several sessions will be deveoted to the mental game. This progressive development approach will only enhance your performance. You will learn the latest techniques in the goalie field today. We will also discuss more situational and positional play and expose you to our "Building Blocks" system. You will be fully prepared so that when you encounter your competition on the ice you will be stopping them cold. The newly developed cirriculum will enhance your reactions, speed and coordination.
Why Synthetic ice?
Synthetic ice is the most challenging way for a goalie to train. The added resistance provided by the ice forces the goalie into their most efficient balance points, which results in more fluid and efficient movement. Better movement equals more saves.
Program Costs:
The 8 week program cost is $ 495. You will also receive a Goalie Guy goalie jersey to wear, a water bottle to enjoy your favorite beverage throughout the camp and season. This year we are adding a success journal for you to track your progress and you will receive as another bonus a copy of "The Goalie Guy" training manual.
Program Times:
The camps will start during the last week in June and run through Mid-August with no class running during the July 4th week. Open days are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday mornings with the first class starting at 7:30 and the last one at 10:30. |
OUT-OF-TOWN CAMP
Out of town goalies are also able to receive the benefits of Rob's training. In this intensive 1 week program the following areas of the goalie's game will be covered:
Stance
Movement
Technical save making ability
Advanced positioning
Rebound Control
Athleticism
Mental toughness
The program will consist of synthetic ice, on-ice small group format, and mental training. Rob does all the teaching for this challenging program. You will not get this much time with any other camp director. Prior to your arrival you will receive a workout program and mental goal planning worksheet. This program has sold out every year it has been offered. There are a VERY limited number of slots available. The program will start on Monday and finish on Friday. Many of the graduates have gone on to college or prep school.
The cost for the week is $750. Remember there are limited spots available. Rob also maintains close contact with the goalie throughout the course of the season, no other director will go that far for a 1 week student. This program has sold out every year it has been in existence.
