AJ Bucchino and John Hallas faced off against each other as the Louisana ice gators played the Mississippi Surge. Bucchino won the battle in a 5-4 shootout.
Lauren Slebodnick committed to Cornell University. She will enter as the primary goalie recruit next fall. Congrats to her as she has worked hard for the last 10 years with me.
Chris Eiserman committed to UMass-Lowell on a full hockey scholarship. He will attend ULowell in 2012.
Nick Broadwater was named ECAC West goalie of the week. Nick plays for Hobart college and has started off with a 2-1-1 record through 4 games.
Congrats to Candice Currier as she guided the University of Maine Black Bears to a 9-0 shutout of Sacred Heart University. Candice was also named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week.

Lauren Slebodnick won the top goalie award at Hockey Night in Boston as she played for the New England Prep squad who captured the tournament title.
Abby Guerra was also the top goalie in the Girl's division of the Beantown Classic.

Matt Lopes guided the Gustavas Adolphus Gusties to the NCAA D3 Title game losing to Neumann 4-1.
Brian Billett and Nick Therrien backstopped the NH Junior Monarchs to the Junior A Tier 3 National Championship. Both stood tall in the net during the EJHL playoffs and National tourney.
Jay Aguiar will be attending Gustavas Adolphus next season.
Connor Shannon will be attending Bowdoin college next season.
