Successes for the 2009-2010 season:
Professional
Matt Lopes made his professional debut for the Manchester Monarchs and put up a 42 save performance surrendering 1 goal as he helped the Monarchs secure an AHL playoff spot.
Pat Galbraith backstopped Denmark to a 3-2 win over the US in the World Hockey Championships.
Casey Tuttle played for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL and in 2 appearances did not allow a goal.
AJ Bucchino finished the year with Louisiana of the SPHL. He has decided to retire and go into coaching.
College
Scott Barschard of Tufts was named D3 All-American
Barschard and Ryan Purdy of Williams were number 1 and 2 in the country in D3 save percentage.
Nick Broadwater was named ECAC West Rookie of the year as he had a great year at Hobart.
Casey Tuttle was named ECAC West First team All-star as he finished up his career at Elmira where he was an All-American 2 years ago.
Brian Foster was named First team Hockey East all-star and NCAA All-American. He will be continuing his career next season professionally.
Jimmy Mello earned the starting job at Dartmouth and showed people what he could do after seeing limited action during his first 1.5 years. Way to show em Jimmy always knew you could do it.
Candice Currier put up great numbers for UMO. Look for her to continue more of the same next year.
Junior
Brian Billett of the NH Junior Monarchs was named EJHL goalie of the year as he set a league record for save percentage (94.1%)
Derek Kump of the Walpole Express was named AJHL goalie of the year.
Tyler Ingerson was named Empire Hockey League goalie of the month for March.
Festival
16 goalies participated in the New England Hockey spring festval.

Congrats to the following goalies: Nick Broadwater was named ECAC Rookie of the Week while set a school record 49 saves as Hobart lost to Elmira 3-2. Fellow Rob Day student Casey Tuttle answered the next night with a 37 save shutout performance in a 2-0 win. Tuttle was named ECAC West goalie of the week.
Jon Tuttle was named Northeast-10 Player of the Week as he led the Franklin Pierce Ravens to a 6-2 win over Stonehill.
Candice Currier of the UMO Black Bears was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week during the opening week of the season.
